therapeutic background I or "jumping into cold water"

6 hours

Have you been dreaming about an abstract background, but never dared to approach it as a project? Are you ready to mix glue with your favorite fabric, paint on paper towels or include your favorite photo ?

if you just feel like playing around with all kinds of interesting materials such as, acrylic paint, fabric, newspaper, pictures, threads or tissue paper then you will enjoy this class. The goal is to loose the fear of white, empty fabric and paper and to create a fun, fast and different background. The idea is to unwind and just go for it. Perspectives and color theory will also be part of the class. Each student will have a finished background and 'jumper' for the cold water, at the end of the day. This class is perfect for the student who was always afraid of painting!
